Highstead’s annual Open House and Trails Day will take place on Saturday, June 12th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.  All are Headquarters and walk our interpretive trail.  This year, you will learn about Highstead’s role in helping welcome to visit our Barn to advance the New England Wildlands and Woodlands Vision.  This vision calls for an unprecedented, long-term conservation effort to retain the majority of New England in forestland, permanently free from development and capable of supporting both people and nature.
