Join an American Revolutionary Spy and learn the secret codes and communication used by both sides during the Revolutionary War. Practice writing with disappearing ink and decoding secret letters!
July17 9:00-11:00 a.m.
Secrets of the Apothecary- learn the practice of colonial medicine and identify the herbs and flowers used to save lives and make more savory foods!
July 24 9:00-11:00 a.m.
Colonial Cooking in the 1785 Rider House with a “hands-on” chance to learn some great recipes and fun food facts!
July 31 9:00-11:00 a.m.
Drill and practice with a Revolutionary War soldier and learn the "ins and outs" of the Revolutionary War soldier uniform and equipment- including a special musket demonstration!
