Executive Director – WeCAHR, a leader in advocacy services for individuals with disabilities in Western Connecticut is seeking an experienced and creative administrator with 3-5 years experience to lead the agency.  WeCAHR, a non profit, has a staff of 7 and provides advocacy, training, information and support to children and adults with disabilities in 10 communities within the Danbury area and to the residents at Southbury Training School.    The successful candidate should have experience in working collaboratively with a volunteer Board of Directors; a working knowledge of systems serving individuals with disabilities; grant writing, fundraising; strategic planning, and running day to day operations are also key components.   WeCAHR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.  Please send letters of interest and resumes to: WeCAHR, Search Committee, 211 Main Street, Danbury, CT 06810 by May 1, 2009.
